Garner police say the SUV driver suffered minor injuries, and Clayton officers finally stopped the damaged car in Johnston County before the suspect was taken to a hospital.
   

• Garner woman out thousands after buying stolen vehicle from CarMax (wral.com) — A Garner resident is out thousands of dollars after learning the Infiniti she bought through CarMax was actually a stolen vehicle with a fraudulent VIN, according to Raleigh police and Florida investigators. Authorities in Polk County, Florida are probing a large multi-state vehicle theft ring involving up to 200 cars, including the one sold locally, while CarMax has not yet publicly responded.
