How many years have you been a GSC volunteer? 6
Why did you choose to volunteer with us? When my daughters were young, the Science Center was a regular outing for us for years. Volunteer docents made our visits special every time. Now that my daughters have grown and moved away, I took advantage of the opportunity to do the same for other families.
What impact do you hope to have as a GSC volunteer? I hope to enrich the experiences of guests with our animals as a way to build increased enthusiasm for wildlife conservation.
Why is the GSC important to you personally? I am very concerned about the plight of wildlife in the modern world, and the GSC is a fantastic local opportunity to influence people to improve the long term outlook for wildlife conservation.
Why is the GSC important to the community? Our community is very blessed to have a world-class facility with museum, zoo and aquarium all in one place, which entertains people from all over the country and simultaneously educates them about wildlife conservation.
