Hoffman & Hoffman to invest $13.5M in Greensboro expansion (wfmynews2.com) — Hoffman & Hoffman is investing $13.5 million to expand its Triad Center Drive facility in Greensboro, bringing 131 new jobs and retaining 335 existing positions with average salaries over $77,000. City, county, and state leaders say the project reinforces Greensboro’s business-friendly climate and deepens the company’s long-standing roots in the community while boosting the local economy.
   

3. North Carolina A&T 100th Homecoming Details Announced (hbcubuzz.com) — North Carolina A&T is gearing up for its 100th Homecoming, a weeklong celebration in Greensboro from October 25 to November 1, 2026 that’s expected to draw tens of thousands. University leaders say the centennial events and Halloween-night football game will significantly boost Greensboro’s economy and spotlight A&T’s role as a cultural and community anchor.
   

4. Thomasville taproom drops Sycamore Brewing products, plans to donate proceeds from remaining beer (wfmynews2.com) — A Thomasville taproom has stopped selling Sycamore Brewing beers after the brewery’s former co-owner was arrested on serious sexual assault charges, and will donate proceeds from remaining stock to a child advocacy center. At least two Greensboro spots, The Upper Deck and Chandler’s GSO, have also pulled Sycamore products, signaling a broader response local drinkers may notice on tap lists.
