• Months-long narcotics investigation leads to arrest in Alexander County (wsoctv.com) — Lenoir Police Department assisted Alexander County authorities and state agents in a four-month narcotics investigation that led to a major drug bust and the arrest of a Taylorsville man. Deputies seized meth, cocaine, marijuana, fentanyl, psychedelic mushrooms, firearms, cash, and moonshine, with an estimated street value of about $61,000, and the suspect is being held on a $1.5 million bond.
