  1. Celebrating local Officer Skyler Isenhower, the Mooresville Police Department wrote the following on their Facebook page, "Officer Skyler Isenhower is continuing a law enforcement tradition, and she can’t imagine a more fulfilling career than serving her community!
Officer Isenhower joined MPD in June 2020. She comes from a long line of law enforcement officers, including but not limited to, her mother, father, uncle, great uncle, and multiple cousins who are (or were) sworn law enforcement personnel. At MPD, Officer Isenhower serves as a negotiator, and she recently assisted the FBI Negotiator Training class with their scenarios. She is engaging in training to earn her General Instructor certification so she can teach others. On top of her professional duties, she has a personal goal to continue her education. Officer Isenhower is currently completing coursework for an associate degree in criminal justice. She plans to work towards a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She works out six days a week and trains in Muay Thai and jiu-jitsu. She is also an animal lover, caring for two rescue dogs. Thank you for all you do to serve our community, Officer Isenhower! MPD is lucky to have you on the force!" (Mooresville Police Department via Facebook)
