COVID-19 Testing: Here's Where To Get A Test In Mooresville

Here's a rundown of where to get a COVID-19 test around Iredell County, including several upcoming community testing events in August.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Three upcoming COVID-19 community testing events are planned in Iredell County, according to the county's health department.

On Monday, Aug. 10, a testing event will be held at Signal Hill Mall, located at 1685 E. Broad Street in Statesville from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This drive-up testing event is sponsored by Kintegra Health, and preregistration is required. Call 704-874-3316 for more information.

On Thursday, Aug. 20, the Iredell County Health Department is holding a community testing event at Northview Church of Christ, located at 2615 Amity Hill Road in Statesville from 9 a.m. until noon. On Aug. 31, the health department is also holding an event at St. Therese Catholic Church, located at 217 Brawley School Road in Mooresville from 9 a.m. until noon.

Here's what ICHD says about signing up for the Aug. 20 or Aug. 31 testing:

  • Anyone seeking a test much first complete a virtual visit with StarMed before testing. That website may be found here.
  • Click the red box "Schedule Virtual Visit." Choose "Iredell County" in the drop-down box and select a virtual visit appointment time.
  • Enter email address and personal information.
  • You will receive an appointment confirmation email.
  • 30 minutes before your scheduled visit time, you will receive an email or text message from StarMed. Click "Start" to begin your virtual visit.
  • Call 704-225-6288 with questions.
  • Health officials ask that a mask be worn while visiting the testing site.
