- Is Dale Earnhardt Jr. considering entering his team in the [NASCAR]Cup Series? According to an article in Sportskeeda, the sixth generation of cars that raced all the way up to 2021 were the primary reasons why Earnhardt Jr. did not consider entering his team in the Cup Series. With the introduction of the seventh-generation cars, is he re-evaluating his decisions? The NASCAR Hall of Famer said, following in a conversation with Dave Moody of SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, “Well, it’s just not going to happen for 2022. We’re open to any and all sorts of scenarios that could get us to that point and I think the more that we talk about it, the more intrigued we are as a group at JR Motorsports to go Cup racing. I think as time passes, we get more and more interested in it." (Sportskeeda)
- Could North Carolina residents get paid to spend money on gas? The answer is maybe! Reportedly, Senate Democrats have proposed a $200 gas tax rebate. The bill, titled the Gas Tax Rebate Act of 2022, was filed Thursday. If it is approved, drivers would reportedly be eligible for the $200 gas tax rebate if they, as of March 31, were a North Carolina residents over the age of 18 with a valid N.C. driver's license. The rebate would be issued as a check or a debit card asap! (WRAL.com).
