Family Of Missing Mooresville Teen Offering $5K Reward: MPD

MOORESVILLE, NC — The family of a Mooresville teen missing for more than a week is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to her safe return, police said Thursday.

Selena Cawley was last seen Aug. 12 around 4 p.m. in the backyard of her home in the Morrison Plantation subdivision, Mooresville Police Department said.

"It is believed Selena left on foot in an unknown direction," MPD said.

She is described as about 5-foot tall, with shoulder- length black curly hair. She was last seen wearing an off-white short sleeve shirt, cut off blue jean shorts, and purple and black Birkenstock-like sandals, police said.

The reward offered by Selena's family is not associated with MPD or the Mooresville South Iredell CrimeStoppers, police said.

MPD asks that anyone with information about Selena Cawley's whereabouts is urged to call 9-1-1 or the Mooresville Police Department's non-emergency number at 704-664-3311.
