Here are the top three stories today in Mooresville:

1. Thomas Strahan, 58, the head coach for the Lake Norman High School’s softball team, was charged Wednesday with felony indecent liberties with a child, after the school received a voicemail regarding sexual acts with a female student, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. Strahan has reportedly been fired and was issued a $50,000 secured bond. According to Fox 46 Charlotte, additional charges are anticipated.(Fox 46 Charlotte)
2. According to Mooresville Police, a sinkhole is at the intersection between Statesville Highway 115 and Mazeppa Road near Millsaps Family Farm. The public should use caution in that area. (Fox 46 Charlotte)
