🌱It's Race City Festival Weekend! + Go-Karts To NASCARs, It's Racing

Here are the top three stories in Mooresville today:

1. From a NASCAR track to a go-kart track, Team Toyota is taking some of its drivers to a Mooresville go-kart facility to more econimical seat time. Reportedly, Team Toyota supplies half a dozen karts to their drivers. The track they use is the GoPro Motorplex, which is a 0.7 mile, 11-turn karting facility, that’s also open to the public. 2. Summit Coffee is coming to Mooresville soon. Adding to the shops it already has open in Davidson, Charlotte, Huntersville and Asheville, Summit aims to open four more cafés later this year, including one each in Mooresville and another Cornelius, N.C. Reportedly, Summit’s mission is to approach coffee, community and collaboration with remarkable hospitality and a commitment to excellence. Its menu consists of unique drinks, baked goods, granola and energy bars. (QSR magazine)
3. Don't forget the Annual Race City Festival this weekend. It promises to be fun for the whole family. Put on by Mooresville-South Iredell Chamber of Commerce, the event is a celebration of Mooresville Arts & Culture. Come and be a part of this Mooresville tradition. The event will take Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street. (Happening Next)
