Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 15 for the Mooresville Arts-a-Palooza which will be held at 697 Indianapolis Road, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. It’s an annual arts and music festival with lots of free activities to make children’s art at 10 different tables. Bring the little ones to enjoy the Kids Zone with bounce houses. The grounds will be filled with vendors, food trucks, wine, brews and live music. The Vendors Market will include lots of handcrafted and unique Items. Did you know it's time for the annual car, truck and bike show at Mooresville Arts? All proceeds will benefit the youth program at MAP. Preregistration is $15 and day of show tickets are $20. Day of event registration is 8 a.m. to noon. Judging begins at 11 a.m. Awards are at 3:30 p.m. Entries may exit as needed after awards or stay for the rest of the festivities. Dash plaques will go to first 100 cars. Hope to see you there!   3. Apple picking time is here! Carrigan Farms will open for apple picking on September 6. "The season will run through until September 25 if everything goes as planned, but you can't just go apple picking on a whim, you have to make reservations. So, sign up now for your special day and enjoy a fantastic authentic, pick-your-own apples experience," according to WCNC. (WCNC.com)
