Mooresville Library Hosting Drug Take Back Event On Wednesday

The drive-thru event will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville residents are invited to help cut back on accidental overdoses and misused medications in a drive-thru drug take back event Wednesday afternoon at the Mooresville Public Library.

Medication lock boxes will also be given away during the event.

The drug take back event will be handled in a drive-thru only manner at 304 S. Main Street in Mooresville from 6 to 7 p.m.

Residents are invited to bring prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, patches, ointments, lotions, suppositories, vitamins, supplements, homeopathic remedies and even pet drugs to the no-questions-asked event.

The event is arranged by the Drug-Alcohol Coalition of Iredell, Mooresville Police and the Mooresville Library.
