  1. Mooresville residents support the Police Department during the Border 2 Border Campaign. The Mooresville Police Department, worked in conjunction with the North Carolina Highway Patrol, checking for unsafe roadway behaviors at the borders of the Town of Mooresville during the Border 2 Border Campaign and residential support poured in on the Department's facebook page, with several "Thank You" messages, as well as a narrative that more traffic patrol would be appreciated in town.   3. U.S. Rep. David Price, is recovering following a coronavirus diagnosis over the weekend. Price, reportedly said in a tweet that he was “experiencing mild cold-like symptoms” after testing positive for COVID-19. He is not seeking reelection this fall. Price is the latest North Carolina elected official to announce testing positive for COVID-19. Others include Reps. Deborah Ross and G.K. Butterfield and state Attorney General Josh Stein. Former Gov. Pat McCrory said he tested positive Wednesday, a day after he lost the Republican U.S. Senate primary to Ted Budd. (Mooresville Tribune)
