Mooresville Schools Offer Lunch Pickup, Delivery During Reopening

The school district said it will offer various menu choices for its meal delivery and pickup program.

MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville Graded School District won't reopen schools with in-classroom education, but that doesn't mean students will go unfed during nine weeks of Plan C education.

In a Facebook post on Tuesday, MGSD said it will offer lunches by bus and through curbside pickup offerings at South Elementary School, Park View Elementary School and Mooresville Intermediate School.

MGSD said its nutrition program is regulated by the USDA, which has not extended its free community meal program into the 2020-2021 school year.
