Mooresville Students Mourn Loss Of Classmate, Athlete
The 15-year-old football player died while on a service project on campus, according to reports.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville is mourning the loss of a student and football player over the weekend. Gavin Sharpe, 15, died during a service project on campus, reports say.
“He was one of the best people you’ll ever meet,” said Isaac Riffle, a teammate of Sharpe, according to the Mooresville Tribune. “He was one of the hardest workers and off the field, hands down.”
He died after falling from a truck, reports say.
