Tip Leads Police To Make Drug Arrest At Mooresville Home
Joshua D. Wilson, 23, was arrested at a home on West McNeely Avenue Friday, Mooresville Police Department said.
MOORESVILLE, NC — Police arrested a 23-year-old man in Mooresville Friday following a tip made to authorities that the convicted felon was in possession of drugs and firearms.
According to the Mooresville Police Department, officers executed a search warrant for Joshua D. Wilson at 320-1002 W. McNeely Avenue, where they located a pistol, marijuana, THC cartridges, a bottle of Promethazine Hydrochloride Syrup, and cash.
"Wilson, 23, of Mooresville is currently on probation with the NC Department of
Community Corrections for Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon. Also, he is out on
bond for Felony Breaking and Entering. Today’s charges include Possession of Firearm
by Convicted Felon, Possession with Intent to Sale/Distribute Marijuana Within 1000 ft
of a School, Possession of a Schedule V Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug
Paraphernalia," MPD said in a statement.

He was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center where a $100,000 secured bond was issued.
