Undercover Drug Buy Leads To Arrest Of Troutman Man: ICSO
Christopher Michael Gandt, 48, of Troutman is facing numerous felony drug charges, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
IREDELL COUNTY, NC — A 48-year-old Troutman man was arrested Thursday and faces numerous felony drug charges after authorities say they purchased drugs from him while undercover.
According to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Michael Gandt, 48, was arrested Aug. 6 at his home on Thoroughbred Drive in Troutman.
"Narcotics investigators had received information about Gandt possibly being involved in the sale, and distribution of different types of controlled substances in southern Iredell County," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "Narcotics investigators began a surveillance operation on Gandt. They quickly were able to verify the information and soon were able to purchase narcotics directly from Gandt."

Armed with a search warrant, investigators searched Gandt's home Thursday and reportedly found Lysergic Acid Diethylamide or “LSD”, marijuana, THC resin or “Wax”, cocaine, and psychedelic mushrooms.
Following his arrest, Gandt was transported to the Iredell County Detention Center. He was charged with two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule I controlled substance; felony possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule II controlled substance; two counts of felony possession with intent to sell or deliver Schedule VI controlled substance; and felony maintaining a dwelling for the use or storage of a controlled substance.

He was issued a $20,000 secured bond, ICSO said.
