Chesterbrook Academy® Preschoolers Donate Personalized Gifts to Kids
Students collected various gifts to benefit Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program

Students at Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Raleigh recently donated personalized toys, clothes, and books to Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program, an organization that recruits, trains, and supervises volunteer Guardians ad Litem advocates who serve as court-appointed advocates for abused and neglected children who come to the attention of the Wake County juvenile court system. For the past few weeks, the school hosted a Giving Tree, where students and their families were able to "adopt" a child. The families then took the time to learn about the children's interests to choose gifts that matched their hobbies and needs. A lot of thought and care went into each gift. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of helping others, especially during the holiday season.
