The Raleigh Summer Youth Employment Program is now accepting applications from teens looking to prepare for future employment and spend the summer working for the City of Raleigh!

Over six weeks, 200 summer youth employees will gain valuable work experience, discover possible career pathways, and build skills around financial literacy, civic engagement, and leadership. Employees will also have the opportunity to receive mentorship from firefighters, law enforcement staff, local business owners, and professionals from organizations such as Bank of America and UNC Health.

Interested applicants must:
- Be age 15-18 as of May 31
- Live within Raleigh City limits (Must be able to provide an N.C. issued ID/driver license at the time of interview, no exceptions)
- Be available to work June 21 - August 5
- Attend program orientation on May 14
- Be the only person in your household participating in this program
- Not be enrolled in summer school
- Not miss more than four program days
