1. These 3 restaurants in Raleigh are closing (or changing). Here's what to know (newsobserver.com) — Several well-known Raleigh restaurants are in transition, with Beasley’s Chicken + Honey set to close Jan. 25 and Clyde Cooper’s BBQ relocating from downtown to Quail Corners Shopping Center. Lafayette Village favorite Bongiorno & Son is also changing hands and will be renamed Mina’s within six months, though its Italian market feel should remain familiar.
