Toddler, Man Killed In North Carolina Triple Shooting: Police

Police have charged Nataneal Baez with murder and assault with a deadly weapon in connection with the shooting in north Raleigh.

RALEIGH, NC — A toddler and a 22-year-old man were killed Tuesday night in a triple shooting in north Raleigh.

Robert Thomas, 22, and a 23-month-old boy were killed and a woman injured in the shooting at an apartment complex in the 6000 block of Shanda Drive, according to the Raleigh Police Department.

Nataneal Baez, 22, was arrested and charged with murder and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in connection with the shooting, police said.

The toddler died at the complex, while Thomas and Tiffany Claybrooke, 27, were taken to the hospital, where Thomas later died, according to WTVD TV. Claybrooke suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
