Liberty Senior Living Honors World War II Veterans at Special Luncheon in Wilmington

Wilmington, N.C., October 1, 2025 — Liberty Senior Living proudly hosted a special luncheon on September 29th to honor seven World War II veterans who reside at Bradley Creek at Carolina Bay and The Commons at Brightmore. Liberty Senior Living owns and manages Carolina Bay at Autumn Hall and Brightmore of Wilmington senior living communities.

The event, held at Pilot House in downtown Wilmington, commemorated the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and celebrated the extraordinary service and sacrifice of these heroes.

Liberty Senior Living leadership and veterans from within the organization attended the event. Each of the WWII veterans was presented with a challenge coin from Liberty Senior Living as a symbol of gratitude and recognition. Family members of the veterans joined the celebration and shared photos and the biographies of their loved ones.
