Here are the top three stories in Wilmington today:
- On Monday, the Wilmington Police Department officially announced the search for 39-year-old Justin Daniel Duthie, asking for assistance from the community. Duthie has been missing since Jun. 8 and was last seen on the 5000 block of Wrightsville Avenue. If you or anyone you know may have seen Duthie or have any information, please contact the authorities. He is about 6 foot 3 inches, around 184 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. (WECT)
- In New Hanover County, dental care is going mobile for children between the ages of 3 and 18 who don't have dental insurance or who are on Medicaid. This mobile dental unit will offer fillings, cleanings, x-rays, and more and will be available through Jul. 27. The dentists enjoy the opportunity to help children in need in a more convenient manner. Those who are eligible for the no-cost program are requested to make an appointment prior to coming by calling (910) 512-3113; the mobile unit is parked at Health and Human Services Annex on Greenfield Street. - The Bellamy Mansion Museum has officially established an annual Juneteenth scholarship that will be awarded to a University of North CarolinaβWilmington graduate student in the Public History Program. The museum's Director of Education and Engagement Jennifer Fenninger and the staff wanted to find more ways to celebrate such an important day in American history. The museum will award a $1,000 scholarship yearly. (WWAY NewsChannel 3)
