Unity Spiritual Center of Wilmington Celebrates 50 Years of Love, Service, and Spiritual Growth
In the beginning...As with every new thing, the idea was first one in consciousness. The start of our spiritual community was no exception.
Unity Spiritual Center of Wilmington, formerly known as Unity Christ Church of Wilmington, joyfully announces its 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend to be held on Saturday, November 15th, and Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at 717 Orchard Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28403.
This golden milestone honors five decades of community, inspiration, and spiritual transformation in the greater Wilmington area.
The celebration kicks off Saturday, November 15th, with a Family Fun Day from 10:00 a.m. to
12:00 noon—a heartwarming, family-friendly event featuring games, face painting, a puppet show,
and children’s activities both outdoors and in the Center’s activity rooms. Families, friends, and
neighbors are invited to enjoy laughter, joy, and connection.

Saturday evening comes alive with the 50th Anniversary Gala, the Center's major fundraiser of the
year, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy an evening of delicious food, live
entertainment, silent and live auctions, dancing, and celebration—all in the spirit of gratitude and
giving.
The highlight of the weekend takes place on Sunday, November 16th, during a special
Anniversary Service. The service will feature historical photos and videos, guest speakers, and
touching reflections on Unity’s 50-year journey of faith, love, and transformation. A
commemorative program will include messages from sponsors, friends, and longtime
supporters who have shared in the Center’s mission over the decades.

spokesperson for the Center. “This celebration honors our past, celebrates our present, and sets the
stage for a vibrant and inspired future.”
