• Election of New President Highlights NDFU State Convention (americanagnetwork.com) — Jamestown residents are represented in statewide farm leadership as local member Mike Huebner was chosen as a delegate to the 2026 National Farmers Union convention. At the NDFU’s 99th annual convention in Bismarck, members elected 33-year-old Ray farmer Matt Perdue as the new state president, set policy priorities on farm bills and rural health, and honored youth with top Torchbearer awards and scholarships.
   

• Hi-Lites Place on the Road at West Fargo (newsdakota.com) — Jamestown will host the Valley City Hi-Lites dance team on January 10 as they resume competition after Christmas break. The squad recently earned multiple top-three finishes at a West Fargo meet and will first compete at Bismarck Legacy before heading to Jamestown.
