KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Kansas City Chiefs 27-24 during Sunday night's AFC championship game, cementing their place at Super Bowl 56.

In a game that went well in to overtime, the Bengals were able to bounce back after trailing behind a whopping 18 points, marking the biggest comeback in an AFC championship game. Just a mere two years ago the Bengals were considered to be one of the worst NFL teams, winning only two games in 2019. The upcoming Super Bowl game will be the team's first appearance at the big game since 1988.
