Couple Arrested After Having Sex On Ferris Wheel: Police

SANDUSKY, OH — A couple was arrested and charged after having sex on a Ferris wheel at an Ohio amusement park, according to police.

The incident occurred about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Cedar Point in Sandusky, where a group of girls riding the Giant Wheel saw David Davis and Heather Johnston, both 32, having sex in the cart above them, police said. The couple initially denied having sex on the ride and said that Johnston had dropped a pack of cigarettes and Davis had been helping her pick them up, according to police.

The girls told police they saw Davis’ genitals and could feel the cart shaking, and that the pair knew the girls were watching and started laughing as they continued the act, law enforcement said. Two of the girls were 18 and two were minors, according to police, who reported one of the minors told law enforcement what she witnessed was “very traumatizing."

Eventually, the couple admitted to having sex on the ride and were arrested on charges of public indecency and taken to jail, according to police.
