Coyote Was Hiding In Bathroom While Ohio Family Used It: Police

An Ohio family had an unwelcome visitor Friday morning, according to police.

TRENTON, OH — A coyote paid an unexpected visit Friday to a family in Ohio, according to police.

Officers in Trenton responded shortly after 5 a.m. to a call about an animal in a bathroom, police said. When they arrived, they found an adult coyote hiding behind the toilet, according to police.

The coyote had entered the home an hour earlier through the open front door while the family was loading vehicles for a trip, police said.

“The animal was also present in the small restroom during its use by the family that morning unbeknownst to them,” according to police.

Officers safely removed the coyote and released him back into nature unharmed, police said.
