Ballet Excel Ohio, founded in 1975 as the first youth ballet in Ohio, is proud to present Tom Gold’s Beauty and the Beast at the Akron Civic on March 12 and 13, with shows at 2 p.m.

The ballet company's vice president is King CLC Intervention Specialist Tabitha Moneskey. Tabitha tells us, "It's wonderful how APS is represented in this production and Ballet Excel Ohio. Of 29 dancers in this piece, APS has 14 in the production."
