This surpassed last year’s total by over 300 pounds!  With summer fast approaching, a major food drive is just what CRS needed to stock up their pantry. With efforts from the Avon Lake Community Council organizations and all the businesses, schools and city buildings that received donations, March Away Hunger was a huge success.

Thanks to the following donation sites:  Avon Lake Safety Center, Avon Lake Service Department, Avon Lake City Hall, Old Firehouse Community Center, Avon Lake City Schools, First Federal of Lakewood-Avon Lake, Suntan Supply, Arts Town Plaza, Avon East Elementary School, and Avon Village School.
