All-Clear Given After Bomb Threat At Lorain County Community College
All schools and campus centers were closed while an investigation was underway, officials said.

ELYRIA, OH — An all-clear was announced for all Lorain County Community College campuses after they closed Tuesday afternoon due to a bomb threat, college officials said in an alert.
"The bomb threat made to Lorain County Community College on April 19 is determined to be unfounded, and the campus has been cleared to reopen," the alert read.
"Evening classes starting at 4 p.m. or later on April 19 will continue as scheduled."

Everyone was asked to evacuate around 12:30 p.m. while an investigation was underway. Students and staff were asked to meet in Parking Lot 8 for pickups.
The all-clear was given around 1:30 p.m.

No further details about the threat were released.
Over the past month, there have been several bomb threats at Lorain County Community College, and several investigations revealed no security issues. A threat in late March came through an online student chat portal, Cleveland 19 reported.
