Booze and Road Rage a Bad Combination
The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A man is facing multiple charges after he got out of his car at an intersection, tried to open a woman’s car door, and then began tailing her.
The woman told Avon police that she was southbound on Jaycox Road and did not get a left-turn arrow. That’s when Peter Klepak, 64, who was behind her, began honking his horn, she said.
Klepak then got out of the car, yelled at her, and tried to open her car door, she said. The woman took off, continuing south on Jaycox, telling police that Klepak was still following her.

Police told her to turn onto Schwartz Road then Reigelsberger Road, and head north on Center Road towards the police station. Officers caught up with them at the intersection of Center and Bentley.
Klepak was charged with DUI, implied consent and menacing.
