Burning SUV Rolls Down I-90, Driver Saved By Highway Patrolman
An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper moved quickly to save the driver of a flaming SUV.
SHEFFIELD VILLAGE, OH — An Ohio State Highway Patrolman saved a driver from a burning car this week.
On Tuesday morning, a trooper was dealing with a car he had just stopped when he saw something unusual — a burning SUV rolling down I-90, the Highway Patrol said on Facebook.
After seeing the flaming vehicle, Trooper Paul Macko rushed after the smoke and flames and pulled the driver out of the car...moments before the vehicle was completely engulfed.

A firetruck quickly rolled up to the flaming SUV to extinguish the fire, in video of the incident shared by the Highway Patrol.

"There are no “routine” days for a trooper," the Ohio State Highway Patrol said after sharing video of the incident.
