Animal complaint, Nov. 7 — A Smuggler's Cove resident reported that her neighbor's dog got loose and bit her.

Identity theft, Nov. 9 — Someone opened a credit card in an Avon Lake resident's name.

Fraud, Nov. 11 — A man was caught in an Internet scam and lost $3,000, according to police
Drug investigation, Nov. 11 — A man wanted by Strongsville police was spotted walking down Moore Road. Officers spoke to the man and determined he had drug paraphernalia and suspected narcotics in his possession. He was taken into custody and then transferred to Strongsville officers.
Animal complaint, Nov. 12 — An Avon Lake woman was bit by a dog. She had to be treated at a hospital for her injuries.
Disturbing the peace, Nov. 12 — A Vanda Avenue homeowner was cited for loud music.
OVI, Nov. 13 — A car stopped in the middle of Lake Road was revving its engine when a patrolling officer drove by. The driver was slurring her words and had red, glassy eyes, police said. When asked if she'd been drinking, the driver said, "A couple." She was cited for drunken driving.
Assault, Nov. 13 — A man reportedly attacked someone else at the Quarry and was taken into custody.
Driving offense, Nov. 14 — A woman with expired registration tags and a suspended driver's license was cited by Avon Lake police. Her car was towed off the road and she was driven to a friend's home.
OVI, Nov. 15 — Police stopped a car that was speeding on Lake Road. Officers determined the driver was intoxicated and was arrested.
Fraud, Nov. 16 — An Avon Lake woman received a change of address request from the Post Office. She said she did not make the request and believes her mail has been forwarded to another place.
