  2. Mark November 10th on your calendar if you want to learn more about future school facilities in Avon Lake. According to cleveland.com, "The Avon Lake School District will hold a community forum on potential facility upgrades at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in the Commons at Avon Lake High School. At the forum, the public will have a chance to ask questions about the future of the district’s school buildings. The biggest projects to be discussed are the replacement of the PreK-8 schools. Also under the preliminary plan, a current grades 7-8 building would become a grades 6-8 school, and some other schools would be transitioned to PreK-5 buildings." (cleveland.com)
  3. Cleveland native Dan Watt is making his debut as a film director and producer with "Everybody Dance," a documentary that showcases the journeys of six kids with different disabilities as they prepare for a dance recital. The film was released for streaming on Friday, Oct. 7 and can be found on VUDU, Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. The film has a 100 percent critics score on Rotten Tomatoes. "These kids changed my life and outlook towards disabilities and if in some way this movie can do the same for someone else, any support and awareness we can bring to it will be a win for so many," Watt told Patch reporter Michelle Rotuno-Johnson.
