Here Are Upcoming COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics In Lorain County

AVON, OH — Over two days, nearly 200 Lorain County children were vaccinated against COVID-19.

On Nov. 3 and Nov. 4, 184 children were given the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine by Lorain County Public Health officials. All recipients were between the ages of 5 and 11.

The county is planning more COVID-19 vaccine clinics in November to specifically help children, or adults, get their first, second or booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Public health officials also reminded residents that flu vaccines are available for people 6 months and older. Authorities have previously worried about the possibility of a "double-barreled" threat to hospitals, with COVID-19 cases and flu cases expected to rise over the winter months in Ohio.

  • This is a drive-thru only event for attendees who are 12 or older
