Lake Effect Snow Could Accumulate, More Snow, Rain Expected: NWS
The National Weather Service predicts 1-2 inches of snow in most areas Friday before more snow, rain will continue on Saturday and Sunday.
CLEVELAND, OH – As local residents are still feasting on Thanksgiving leftovers and enjoying Black Friday sales, the National Weather Service is warning that snow is likely to be part of the weekend agenda around the region.
The forecast calls for chances of snow both Friday and Saturday as lake effect snow could bring 1-2 inches of the white stuff for local residents by the time evening arrives on Friday. There is also a 60 percent chance of a rain-snow mix on Saturday with temperatures expected to drop into the 20s and only reach a high of 36 on Saturday.
There is also a chance of rain and snow on Sunday, forecasters predict with freezing rain expected to arrive in the morning. Temperatures will top out in the mid-30s.

The Ohio Department of Transportation began treating local roads for the wintery mix on Friday and has more than 200 crews out around the state. The agency warns drivers to be aware of ODOT trucks.
