According to cleveland.com.,"An Avon man is the focus of a federal criminal investigation in Michigan tied to his role in a marijuana business that authorities said swindled investors out of some $14 million. Sean K. Williams, 51, is the “target” of the probe into Pure Organic Entities, according to filings by Williams’ attorney. Williams was the chief operating officer of the company. The U.S. attorney in western Michigan is handling the criminal investigation, according to a sworn statement filed by Williams’ attorney, Edmond Searby. No criminal charges have been filed in the case." (cleveland.com)
