1. The beautiful sunflowers at Maria’s Field of Hope are in full bloom this month at its temporary location on Recreation Lane (road that leads into Crushers Stadium and the French Creek YMCA). Be sure to mark your calendars for the first-ever Sunflower Trick-or-Treat at Maria’s Field of Hope from 2 to 4 p.m. on October 22nd. According to cleveland.com, "Visitors can come in costume to walk the paths throughout the field where Prayers From Maria volunteers will be passing out candy. Additional treats include apple cider and Maria’s Ice Cream Wagon. All proceeds from the donations received from the event will support childhood cancer research initiatives funded by Prayers From Maria. For more information, go to prayersfrommaria.org."
