Robert E. "Bob" Pocock, WWII Veteran

Robert E. "Bob" Pocock, 88,of Avon Lake, died on Feb. 25, 2013.

He was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn L. (nee Svetvold), married 63 years; loving father of Robert J. (Lynn) and the late Sharon Akers; devoted grandfather of Jason, Robert, Kristy, and Kelly; and great grandfather of Jacey, Amourette, and Abrianna.

Roberts was a decorated World War II veteran and an engineer with Bailey Meter Corp.

He loved to play golf, the piano, bridge, bicycling, dancing and traveling.

The memorial may be made to charity of choice. Private family services will be held. Cremation by Busch Crematory.
