Stolen Car Chase Ends in Avon

helped catch a man who had stolen a car at gunpoint in downtown Cleveland early on April 29.

Officers attempted to place stop sticks on Interstate 90 westbound by after the stolen car, a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, passed the Route 83 overpass at a high speed around 3:58 a.m.

They weren't able to place the stop sticks and the driver went into Sheffield Village, where he turned around and headed back towards Avon. He was stopped on I-90 east just before the Colorado Avenue exit.
