The Bed of a Truck is No Place for a Child
The following arrest information was provided by the Avon Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A man was cited for failure to use a child seat restraint after discovered that he had driven with a three-year-old boy in the bed of his pickup truck.
Police were called after someone spotted the child in the bed of the truck as it was being driven on Colorado Avenue near the Pilot gas station. The truck was found at a nearby medical office with the child asleep in the bed of the truck.
The man admitted what had happened. A taxi was called to bring the child and his mother home.

Burglary
A garage door accidentally left open gave a burglar easy access to a home in the 2600 block of Joseph Street on March 19.
A Wii gaming system and its accessories were reported stolen.
