1. According to cleveland.com, week six game balls went out to top performers including: "Avon's Sam DeTillio. Another efficient night from Avon’s All-Ohio quarterback. DeTillio completed 12 of 16 passes for 312 yards and four TDs, all in the first half of the Eagles’ 63-7 win against North Ridgeville. DeTillio also ran for 56 yards on five carries. And Avon Lake's Jeremy Dzik. Dzik threw only four incomplete passes, making 17 of 21 throws for 246 yards and three TDs in Avon Lake’s 56-7 win against Midview." 3. Run for Sewa, which was held on Saturday in Avon Lake at Weiss Field, was a huge success! According to News 5 Cleveland, "Roughly a hundred people took part in the 7th Annual Run for Sewa, organizers said. The non-profit organization raised about $10, 000 for Aspire Tutorial & Mentoring to tutor and mentor at-risk area high school students." Great job! (News 5 Cleveland WEWS)
