Where Is Undefeated Avon In Latest Football Rankings?

AVON, OH — The Avon Eagles laid the smack down on Friday, beating Midview 42-21. The team moved to 5-0 on the season after the victory. The dominant win was enough to keep Avon ranked the number one team in Division II, Region 6 in the OHSAA computer rankings.

The Eagles have dominated OHSAA's computer rankings since they were first released. There are only four undefeated teams left in the region, Avon, Medina Highland (2), Wadsworth (3) and Sylvania Northview (5).
