If so, you may be accumulating some yard waste. Now you can easily get rid of those last fallen leaves, twigs and assorted other items.
Beginning Monday, April 9, yard waste pick-ups will resume with regular trash pick-ups in Avon.

What is classified as yard waste? Leaves, grass clippings, shrubbery clipping, twigs and small tree limbs.
offered some guidelines for leaving yard waste out for pick-up.

- Waste must be in compostible brown paper bags, or loose in old trash bins (not the current Allied Waste bins) without lids.
- Tree limbs must be cut into 4-foot lengths, and bound with compostible rope or twine.
Yard waste pick-up will go on until Dec. 14.
