• Stolen weapons recovered in Bucyrus (crawfordcountynow.com) — Bucyrus police recently seized five loaded, stolen handguns and tied a local convicted felon to earlier vehicle thefts, boosting public safety efforts. Working with the Crawford County Municipal Probation Office and Sheriff’s Office, officers also found drug paraphernalia and connected the suspect to images released in September, underscoring ongoing efforts to curb gun crime in the city. 
• The Community Foundation for Crawford County distributes $413K in grants to local charities and municipalities (crawfordcountynow.com) — More than $413,000 in grants is flowing into Bucyrus-area nonprofits, including the Bucyrus Historical Society, Copper Kettle Works Museum, and a new orthopedic and therapy project. The Community Foundation for Crawford County is backing everything from youth mentoring and food assistance to historic preservation and local concerts, with another grant deadline coming December 31 for 2026 awards.
• Warm up your holiday spirit with Christmas Belles at Bucyrus Little Theatre! (crawfordcountynow.com) — Bucyrus Little Theatre is inviting residents indoors this weekend for “Christmas Belles,” running Dec. 12–14 with Sunday’s show already sold out. The production at 130 Songer Ave. includes an online silent auction supporting live theatre in Bucyrus, with matching funds pledged by Modern Woodmen of America.
