• VFW Post 108 donates $4,500 for Ross County Home Visiting Program families (sciotovalleyguardian.com) — In Chillicothe, VFW Post 108 has donated $4,500 to help buy Christmas gifts for 120 families in the Ross County Health District’s Home Visiting Program. The funds support Help Me Grow, Cribs for Kids, and child passenger safety services, easing holiday stress for low-income parents across Ross County, including rural communities like Bainbridge and Frankfort.
   

• UPDATE – Single-Vehicle Crash on U.S. 35 Sends Three to Columbus Hospitals by Helicopter (sciotopost.com) — A serious single-vehicle crash on U.S. 35 in Ross County sent four people to hospitals, including two initially taken to Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe before being flown to Columbus. Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Chillicothe Post say the car overturned multiple times, ejecting several occupants and closing the highway for about two hours. The crash remains under investigation.
