- Long-time Cincinnati police officer Christopher Schroder, 50, reached a plea deal in correlation to the mishandling of sexual assault cases. Accused of shelving DNA rape kits, Schroder agreed to be convicted of five misdemeanor counts of dereliction of duty on Wednesday. It's been over a year since Schroder was initially investigated for "doing nothing." (FOX19)
- A Texas woman believes here service dog was stolen while visiting a friend in Cincinnati Tuesday. Karen Gibson and her friend were outside with Toby, a two-year-old ShihTzu, bringing in groceries and said in a matter of 30 seconds he vanished. Gibson said, "He couldn’t have run away or out of our sight that fast." (WKRC TV Cincinnati)
- The first property owner has been sentenced after Cincinnati officials said they would take legal action against negligent owners of the Williamsburg Apartments of Cincinnati. Avi Ohad was sentenced to 180 days in jail, a fine, and 10 months of probation after he pleaded no contest for failing to provide heat to a tenant in January 2022. City Manager Sheryl Long said, "Anyone doing business in Cincinnati who doesn't take those responsibilities seriously will be held accountable." (WLWT Cincinnati)
