- On Dec. 30, Cincinnati PD SWAT arrested eight men in Walnut Hills for allegedly running a drug trafficking ring. At a residence on Mathers Street, only 1,000 feet away from Walnut Hills High School, police found over 19 grams of meth, 22 grams of heroin, 95 grams of crack, 814 grams of fentanyl, several pistols, and an AR-15 rifle. - Jake Ushery III, a 35-year-old repeat convicted drug dealer out on bond, is accused of taking guns to a suburban Cincinnati bar. Ushery III is charged with felony inducing panic at Kickbacks Bar after allegedly standing outside with two guns in his hand. (FOX19)
- Yesterday, Jan. 8, the Cincinnati Bengals defeated division rival Baltimore Ravens 27 to 16. The win secures a home game in the first round of the playoffs as a third seed. (CBS Sports)
- On Jan. 6, Arnold's Bar and Grill, a popular Cincinnati restaurant, announced that it will close for more than a month due to an undisclosed high-profile movie shoot. The restaurant will be closed from Jan. 16 to Feb. 21. (Hamilton Journal News)
