- Cincinnati police are investigating a shooting which occurred yesterday, Jan. 4, in the 2500 block of Nottingham Road at the Villages of Roll Hill. Lt. Brent McCurley believes an argument led to the shooting and said the victim was shot at least three times. As of Jan. 4, the victim was in critical condition at UC Medical Center. Police are searching for witnesses and anyone with information, please call the Crime Stoppers tip line at (513) 352-3040. (Fox 19)
- Yesterday, Jan. 4, President Joe Biden visited Greater Cincinnati to praise the long-awaited Brent Spence Bridge project that he said proves Americans "can work together. We can get things done. We can move the nation forward." Democrats and Republicans worked together to fix the 60-year-old bridge which had for years been a symbol of partisan gridlock. (Subscription: Cincinnati.com)
- Yesterday, Jan. 4, Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin's marketing representative said Hamlin's recovery is moving in "a positive direction" after he went into cardiac arrest during a game against Cincinnati. There has been an outpouring of support from fans and NFL players and vigils are being held in Cincinnati and outside the Bills' home stadium. (KSL Sports.com)
